Day 01 Drive to Jagatsukh (2015m) 7 km away from Manali Jagatsukh to Saruto (2860) 5 to 6 hour trek

We start in Jagathsukh, one of the biggest villages in the Kullu Valley. From here it goes quite steep up through the village until we reach a wooden temple in the forest. From here it still goes continuously up, but now through the shadows of pine trees. Later we will have spectacular views of Manali. Our Campsite is situated in a green area surrounded by big boulders and some water streams.

Day 02 Sarotu (2860m) to Dhum Dhumni Tach(3980 m)5 hours trek

Today’s trek starts with a gradual walk until we have to cross a river. Now we have to climb up. First a little though forest, then through grass which can become quite long in summer. All along the trail we will have an awesome view over whole Kullu Valley. The campsite lays on a beautiful meadow, where horses are grassing and with sun late in the evening.

Day 3 Dhum Dhumni Tach to Piyang Niroo (3900 m) 4-5 hours trek.

For the first half hour we climb up to a small, but beautiful mountain lake on 4110 m, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peacefulness. From Here we have nearly a 360 degree view of all the surrounding mountains. Now it goes down to Rouli Kuli, amagic place with small rivers and lots of green. We will spot two more small lakes. Local people say that there is a number of 7 lakes in total, but no one has ever found all of them. We continue descending down until we reach the River Jobri. Already from this point we have an awe-inspiring view of the 6001 m high Deo Tibba. A Majestic snow and ice covered mountain. The Campsite is just on the other riverside. But still we have two walk half an hour more along the river towards Deo Tibba to find an appropriate place to cross. At this campsite we will spend the next two nights and is the perfect place for doing it: the view of the Deo Tibba, nice small streams, rocks which invite for doing Bouldering!

Day 4 Piyang Niroo to Deo Tiba Basecamp (4480 m) 5-6 hours trek

Today we don’t need to spend time for cleaning the campsite, but can just start for a hike on the glacier after a good Breakfast. We will walk on pure ice; pass crevasses and glacial lakes until we reach the DeoTibba Base camp at a hight of 4800 m. From here you feel very close to the peak of the Deo Tibba! After a break we turn and walk pack to our campsite.

Day 5 Piyang Niroo to Jobri Nallah (2800 m) 3 to to 4 hours

Since the last day was quite long, todays trek is a little shorter. We walk along the river. It goes first gradual up. Then we have to ascend down. We will pass Sheppard men with their herds and cross a chilly stream, where you can take a cool and refreshing bath!

Day 6 Jobri Nallah to Vashist 5- 6 hours trek

After yesterday’s trek was short we have a longer hike today. For one hour we walk back a part of yesterdays trek through the Valley. We reach a water dam.
